Godrej Properties Acquires 12.5 Acres in Hyderabad for Rs 3,500 Crore Housing Development

Realty firm Godrej Properties Ltd has recently ventured into the Hyderabad property market by acquiring 12.5 acres of land, signaling its strategic expansion. The acquisition, situated in Rajendra Nagar, is poised to accommodate a housing project with a revenue potential of Rs 3,500 crore. The company disclosed this information through a regulatory filing, emphasizing the significance of Hyderabad as a pivotal market.

The development plans for the acquired land project an estimated 4 million square feet of saleable area, predominantly comprising premium residential apartments of various configurations. Gaurav Pandey, MD, and CEO of Godrej Properties, underscored the importance of Hyderabad’s robust residential real estate market, acknowledging it as amongst the largest and fastest-growing in the country.

“This acquisition aligns with our strategic objective of bolstering our portfolio across key markets in India,” stated Pandey. He expressed the company’s commitment to delivering a groundbreaking project that generates long-term value for its residents.
