Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) has entered the Hyderabad real estate market by acquiring a 12.5-acre land parcel in Rajendra Nagar. The company plans to develop a premium residential project on this site, with an estimated saleable area of approximately 4 million square feet and an expected revenue potential of around ₹3,500 crore.
Rajendra Nagar is known for its well-established infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and retail outlets, and offers excellent connectivity to key areas of Hyderabad. This strategic move aligns with GPL’s expansion strategy into major Indian cities, aiming to cater to the growing demand for luxury living spaces equipped with modern amenities.
Prior to this, GPL has had a significant presence in markets such as Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, and Kolkata. The company’s entry into Hyderabad reflects its commitment to expanding its footprint across India’s leading cities.
In addition to the Rajendra Nagar project, GPL has also acquired a 3-acre land parcel in Kokapet, Hyderabad, for a residential development with an estimated revenue potential of ₹1,300 crore. This project is expected to offer around 1.2 million square feet of saleable area, primarily consisting of premium residential apartments.
These strategic acquisitions underscore Godrej Properties’ confidence in Hyderabad’s real estate market and its commitment to providing innovative living solutions. With a focus on quality, sustainability, and customer-centricity, the company aims to redefine urban living experiences and create enduring value for all stakeholders.
